Test:

Before taking out the Fenis for regular use, first experiment with the flow of water from a faucet to determine a good angle to catch and release the flow. New users should become familiar with the Fenis in a private setting, such as a shower, to practice with positioning and use to find the best position for you. As with everything new, practice makes perfect, and user experiences can vary. The expelled urine is sterile and nontoxic.

Positioning and use:

Hold the Fenis by the receptacle in one hand with the opening up, and the phallus pointing forward away from you. Place the container under the genital area and gently position it against the body. Do not press the receptacle too hard, as it will change shape and reduce the area where urine is collected. Leave a small space between your body and the Fenis in the front to see if you position yourself properly during urination, and maintain a slight contact with the body at the back and sides to prevent leakage. Make sure the receptacle and the phallus are tilted down, and once you are comfortable with the contact and the position, urination can begin. Control the direction of flow by holding the phallus with the opposite hand while keeping in touch with the receptacle and the body. Once the urination is complete, remove from the body and use Fenis to wipe off the remaining drops or use a cloth to wipe. Hold Fenis with the phallus pointing down and shake gently to remove any remaining liquid. If possible, rinse Fenis with water or wash with soap and water or a cleanser if desired. Fold Fenis if desired and put it back in its carrying bag.

Cleaning:

Cleaning the Fenis can be accomplished in different ways. If used in a remote location, rapid rinsing with water is helpful if available prior to storage. If there is no water available, the unit can be folded and returned to the bag and sealed for later cleaning. A disinfectant gel or spray is also a great option. When cleaning at home, Fenis can withstand all kinds of cleaning agents, from mild detergents or antibacterial soaps to diluted bleach or boiling water. Fenis is durable and will withstand repeated use and cleaning for many years with proper care. Silicone is inert, non-porous and does not support microbiological growth.

Storage:

Fenis can be stored in a sealed bag or pouch before or after use. Fenis is UV resistant, so exposure to sunlight will not dry out or damage it.
